This privacy statement relates to the processing of personal data by Eurostrut BV ("we" or "us"), located at Van Heekstraat 18 in Schiedam, registered in the register of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 58244913. Eurostrut produces and supplies cable support systems and solutions for industrial applications and carries out sales and marketing activities for orders that lead to assembly, production, retail and transport activities. In this policy we describe which personal data we collect from you, how we handle this personal data and which rights you are entitled to in this context. Personal data and purposes Personal data is any data that can identify a natural person (directly or indirectly). Personal data can be a name or telephone number, but also, for example, a date of birth or e-mail address. We collect personal data for the following purposes: 

  • To comply with legal obligations and/or regulations that apply to us in the context of our activities. 
  • For the execution of an agreement concluded with us and the recording of data that necessarily results from this. 
  • The data from this can also be used for relationship management. 
  • For marketing purposes where there is a legitimate interest, such as newsletters and messages on social media to inform you about our products, projects and services. 
  • The provision of personal data is not legally or contractually required. If you do not provide this personal data, our services and/or information provision around projects may not be optimal.

Who do we share personal data with?

  • We provide personal data to organizations/external service providers such as (without being exhaustive) for the purpose of occupational health and safety services and salary processing. To this end, processing agreements have been concluded with the parties involved. We will provide personal data if we are legally obliged to do so. 
  • We do not pass on your personal data to (legal) persons outside the European Economic Area. 
  • We use cookies when you visit our website. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. During your first visit to our website, we already informed you about these cookies and asked for permission to place them. Retention periods 
  • All personal data provided to us will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. At the same time, we observe the statutory retention periods in the context of, for example, administrative and/or fiscal obligations. For personal data that we receive in the context of handling assignments and/or advice, we apply a retention period of 24 months after the end of the assignment and/or the relationship with Eurostrut. If we no longer need the data for the purpose for which it was collected, it may still be stored for research, legal proceedings and/or statistical purposes.   

Security of personal data 

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or any other form of unlawful processing. 

Changes to our privacy policy 

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version of our privacy policy is always available via our website – www.eurostrut.com. Our relations will be informed of a change by mail. You have the right to request us to: provide access to your personal data (such as your address or telephone number); supplement, correct or delete your personal data (such as your address or telephone number); object to the processing of your personal data; limit your personal data; and/or to pass on your personal data to you or to a third party.

These rights are not absolute. We will assess your request in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. We will provide you with information about the actions we have taken in response to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within one month of receipt of your request. We may extend this period by two months in connection with the complexity of your request or the number of requests we receive. We will inform you in that case. 

You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time.
