The Eurostrut ESL-SC splice plate is a connection plate for the ESL cable ladder, also referred to as a marine ladder, and is used for straight connection of two ESL ladder sections in longitudinal direction. The splice plate provides a mechanically stable and aligned connection within the cable support system, maintaining the structural continuity of the ladder route.
The splice plate is manufactured from cold-formed carbon steel and is standard hot-dip galvanized in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 1461. The very high zinc coating thickness of approx. 85–120 µm provides enhanced and durable corrosion protection, making the splice plate suitable for long-term use in outdoor environments and industrial or marine conditions with increased corrosion exposure.
The construction is specifically designed to match the geometry of the ESL marine ladder system and enables direct alignment and connection of adjacent ladder sections. Installation is carried out using the included ESL-SB fixing sets (M10x20). Each splice plate is supplied complete with 2 fixing sets as standard. The ESL-SC splice plate is fully compatible with all ESL cable ladder widths and other ESL system components.
