The Eurostrut ESL cable ladder, also referred to as a marine ladder, is a lightweight cable support system with perforated rungs, designed for routing and supporting cables in installations with limited installation height. The open ladder construction enables structured cable routing with adequate ventilation and easy inspection. The system is applied in utility buildings, industrial installations, machine construction, and marine environments where compact and robust cable support is required.
The cable ladder is manufactured from cold-formed carbon steel and is standard hot-dip galvanized in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 1461. The very high zinc coating thickness of approx. 85–120 µm provides enhanced and durable corrosion protection, making the marine ladder suitable for long-term use in outdoor environments and industrial or marine conditions with increased corrosion exposure. The cable support system is designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC 61537 / NEN-EN 61537 and is applicable within installations compliant with NEN 1010.
The construction consists of flat side rails without perforation and perforated rungs (20 x 8.5 mm) welded to the rails, ensuring a rigid and torsion-resistant structure. The rung spacing is 250 mm center-to-center. Connection between ladder sections is achieved using splice plates ESL-SC or ESL-VC (not included). Installation can be carried out by direct fixing to the supporting structure or by using mounting brackets. The ESL cable ladder is compatible with the Eurostrut system range, including bends (ESL-B), divider plates (ESL-DIV), mounting brackets (ESL-HC), angle bolts (ESL-HB), and fixing sets (ESL-SB, EFS).
